&lt;P&gt;You can move your Sky hub (it is a router not a modem thst is the ONT box the Openreach engineer installed asuming it is full fibre). By default Sky supply a short ethernet lead to connect the hub to the ONT but you can buy longer cables cheaply and placectge hub in a better position assuming you can run the cable. Best position is out in the open on a surface above obstructions like radiators&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just had sky+ installed today replacing virgin. We were told we would coverage over the whole house, guaranteed. Modem in same place as the Virgin one was. Half the house has no signal. Open Space engineer just said nothing he could do and walked off. Says he cannot put modem on first floor even though it would better there (I know as had similar problem years ago with BT superhub modem).&lt;/P&gt;</description>
