We joined Sky Broadband, the fast package, almost a month ago. We're not getting anywhere near 1gb and the speeds appear slower than we had with eir. I've run the automatic online test but it says nothing is wrong. How can ai book an engineer visit?

I don't use the ethernet, just WiFi on devices.

The LAN light is constantly flashing if that means anything?

What speed do you get over WiFi? Sky nor any ISP really guarantee much in the way of WiFi speed, you need to use an ethernet cable for an accurate reading.

The LAN light flashing is normal, this shows data is being passed to your optical network terminal.

Since that is over any of Sky's WiFi 'Gurantees' Sky likely wont engage in any support this issue. As mentioned if you want to get near the 1Gbps of your line you need to use ethernet
