In practice Sky only provide boosters in specific circumstances. First is where a customer has Sky Q boxes which are not connecting. The second is where a customer has bought one of the two add-on packages either Broadband Boost where an older booster is provided if a room in the home is not getting a minimum of 3Mb/s. The second.is WiFi Max where the minimum speed is 10Mb/s for Superfast customers or 25Mb/s for Ultrafast customers this costs between £5 to £10 a month and comes with the new white Sky Max hub if you haven't already got one.
