Our broadband stopped working about 7.30pm yesterday and is still not working. When checking in the sky app it says everything is fine. We have no broadband and no tv working in this time. Why does the sky app when doing a check say there are no problems when there clearly are? I have been doing speed tests and it will not register anything this morning.

We were just watching something on appletv and it stopped, tv reported no internet. checked the router, nothing. No IP. Wifi is fine. Openreach modem has 3 green lights, restarted the hub6 several times, restarted the open reach. Sky connection diagnosis keeps ocming up and when I choose sky hub with fiber modem it just tells me to plug into the phone socket instead.. I don't have a DSL connection. The 'issue fixer' doesn't even support our current set up.

Router showing a slowly pulsating green. My sky app claims our broadband is completely fine despite the router clearly showing that it's not connected. I note that the router is claiming the local time is: July 23 2024

Amazing that Sky's service checker claims there are no issues and everything is super duper. The flashing green is a clear indication something is wrong, yet their app is claiming that it can contact my hub without issue when it does a service check, despite the fact that there is no connection at all.
I think this happened earlier today as well as I recall seeing the 'connection diagnosis' page pop up earlier today but by the time I checked, it was already fine.

If the service is still down this morning and the full connection test is still not showing anything xall Sky and report the issue. However loss of connection around midnight is often due to maintenance work given the number of similarcreports a lot of that did happen last night.
