I have recently noticed a bill on my sky I'd as my ex girlfriends mum had linked her account to mine so she could continue using the deal once I had left, I am no longer able to contact this person anymore and she has not been paying the deal once the package was changed to a direct debit on her card, although it is my id will this still affect me as it was not done using my card, and also still connecting to her account as they are linked, would I just be able to make a new account and let her deal with this herself ?

Even if it says they are the primary user? Nothing is linked to the account other than my email, the account is still in her name as we we changed it to hers, I contacted sky and they had told me I need to contact the other person so I can be unlinked from the account and they'll be the only user , only thing is I can't unlink them myself they have to do it I can only unlink their account I am at a different address as I said I've moved out, will this still stop me from getting my own subscription/account if I'm using a different email

@Camlaws In this case simply remove/replace the email address used on their account

If you want to use the same email address then you need to remove it from the old account first as this will then free it up allowing it to be used when setting your new ID up. You can do this by logging into the old account here:

https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details

Then delete the email address by providing another one and logout of this account, this will then free it up to use when setting up your new Sky ID:

https://www.sky.com/help/diagnostics/sky-id/sky-id
