If you did know better, you'd know Sky dont throttle connections at all and the cause of slow downs in the evening is because it is the time of day where most people are using the WiFi both in your home and surrounding areas. This causes a massive 'traffic jam' as such in the WiFi airspace which will negatively affect your experience.

To avoid this you can try changing WiFI channels, use ethernet connections rather than WiFi or look at getting a more powerful WiFi mesh solution that can deal with interference better.

Seem to be having constant issues particulary of an evening where devices aren't getting internet connection despite router showing green, ful fan on device and broadband test saying working! Wel something isn't.

Seems at its worst from around 23:30 - if I didn't know better I'd swear you were reducing service
