&lt;P&gt;It would be extremely unusual to get a same day response through any domestic ISP: if you were paying for business broadband at ten times the monthly cost then you might have a six hour 'guarantee' for on-site attendance (which isn't really any such thing: it's a guarantee of a daily-rate refund if the fault isn't resolved)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The Openreach &lt;STRONG&gt;target&lt;/STRONG&gt; time to fix for domestic broadband is by the end of two working days starting the following working day morning after a fault is logged: they report to Ofcom that they meet this target for around 85% of incidents.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
