topic DNS issues in Broadband

Currently my phone and my laptop will not connect to my sky router as there is apparently no internet.

When i run some checks on command on windows it appears there is a problem with the sky DNS. I went into the sky router to see if i could change the sky DNS to a public one such as googles 8.8.8.8 but i dont think the sky router lets you do this.

i ran the serice checker online and it thinks my service is fine. I've rebooted my router several times, and as far as i can tell there is an issue with sky dns. any ideas?

Just to add. my work laptop is locked down so i cant change the DNS settings on the local device, so the ability to change on skys router would be useful

I had the same problem today, phoned Sky who tried resetting the router and Openreach modem to no avail. I also suspected DNS so configured our phones and laptops to use Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 and it's been working again since. They're sending a new router (which I'm not sure will help?) but really hoping things clear up before then.
