The only way you could get round it is to request a new line from EE instead of an existing takeover. It shouldnt come at much or if any extra cost to you.

I have just moved in to a new house on 28th August. I have tried to order EE broadband and have been told that Sky have a "cease order" on the line and are not willing to lift this until 27th September.

The previous owner has tried to contact Sky but has been told they are not willing to bring the ceaseorder off the line.

Is there any way to get this sorted so that both my wife and I can continue to work properly and have full functioning broadband?
