I suspect the issue may be the protocol rather than the actual software: that DrayTek client can use IPsec, L2TP over IPsec, OpenVPN and SSL VPN. Particularly problems with the Max Hub seems to be where the VPN is using GRE tunnelling, common in Cisco solutions.

I just wanted to share my story in case anone else out there is having the same issues and getting nowhere... keep going, it will get resolved!

I joined SKY in June 2024 and received a White Sky Max Hub. From the first time I connected, I was unable to connect to my office via the VPN. We went back & forth between SKY & my IT department and no amount of "turning in off and on again" worked, neither did a new router that SKY kindly sent me.

Today, my IT department installed "DrayTek Smart VPNClient" on my machine and hey presto - I can connect again! 🐵 🐵 I think it was OLD Tech V's NEW Tech (the hub)

Hopefully there's a small chance that this will help someone else 🤞
