Hi everyone.

I have just started my 30 day termination notice with Virgin Media, and I'm looking at joining Sky Broadband. I will need fibre installed to my property as I have no BT Line and it's just become available in my area.

I currently have Sky Q with 2 minis.

I would if possible like to use my own router which is an ASUS TUF AX6000? I have had a browse and it seems possible but just wanted to confirm that I could use this router and either eliminate the Sky Hub. If not maybe use the ASUS in bridge/ap mode?

Or, would Sky WiFi Max be worth it? I have heard they won't offer to me as I have Sky Q. Sky have offered it on the VIP app for £3 a month extra. So unsure if that's an error or not.

i understand it's a completely different setup to what I currently have with Virgin Media, but Sky's prices were too good for them to match. I'm looking at the 500mbps or the 900mbps package.

I think that's all the questions I have for now, any other tips or what to expect would be appreciated.
