Thank you for the reply, I wasn't necessarily asking for priority. More that I hy is there no option to take a cancelled booking, surely they happen often? The Sky representative said they have no way of adding a note to make that an option.

Had an engineer booked to visit today but only feed in was for Virgin. Couldn't get hold of authorisation in time for drilling and now tried to rebook but with a near 2 week wait for the next appointment with no option to take up a cancellation slot?

Moved to a lower ground floor flat so the signal is bad and I need the WiFi to work from home. Tempted to just go with the installed virgin so any help with this is appreciated.

Thank you

@JoelV As these installs are carried out by the Network owner Openreach you'll have been given the earliest date possible, working from home gives it no greater priority.

As Virgin Media use their own network and there is an existing connection there, setup times will likely be quicker then Openreach who will need to install new cabling by the sounds of it, they can't use VM cables.
