&lt;P&gt;There is no hard limit as it depends on the devices you have and the type and amount of data they use, their sensitivity to increased latenv]cy and the speed of your connection. So while you may well start to hit issues with say 5 users streaming video or playing games at once on a connection you coukd have more than 30 IOT units happily sharing the connection. Devices that are sensitive to delays to their data &amp;nbsp;suchas game consoles or streaming boxes start to struggle when a router is overloaded a smart switch will happlilyvwait for a command&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;My own Sky Max hub deals with well over 20 devices without any issue and probably a lot more. As it happens my own home automation kit does not uses a different wireless protocol so connects as a single device. The unit appears to have a reasonable amount of processing power as I have streamed on 6 devices simultaenously in tests.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
