Tablet and laptop not connecting to WiFi only

We have a strong WiFi signal but my Amazon Fire Tablet and Asus laptop will not connect, all other devices connect immediately without issue. Could it be that older devices cannot differentiate between the 2.4GHz and 5GHz signals? If so what's the cure?

@Supermechanich What colour of router do you have from Sky to see if there is an abiliity to split the Wi-Fi frequencies.

It could be that your Fire tablet might not support the WPA3 WiFi security standard. To check, go into the MySky app on your phone > Broadband > WiFi settings > Advanced settings > WiFi security level > change from"WPA3-T (default)" to "WPA2".

try to join your Fire tablet to WiFi again. If it works, leave the security level at WOA2. If it doesn't, return the setting to WPA3.
