@LoveStationery a lot depends on how you are measuring speeds. Sky will have given you a minimum guaranteed speed for your line as with Superfast the speed depends on the length of the copper line and its condition. It takes up to 2 weeks for a Superfast line to stabilise.

You can check the speeds yout hub is connecting at by going into the My Sky app and looking at the full connection test results. if after 2 weeks the speeds are still below the guarantee it will tell you what to do. In some cases a line cannot deliver in practice what the database predicted and if Openreach cannot improve the service Sky will release you from contract but it is pointless going to another company who will use the same line as the result will be the same.

Speedtests run on devices report tge slowest part of the connection which is often the WiFi speed in your home which depends on its layout and type of construction. If you live in a property with solid internal walls most of the signal is lost passing through the wall.

Sky give you a 31 day cooling off period so you should be able to cancel without penalty but if you would like help from forum members can you post the connection stats if you have a black Sky hub see Find your Sky Broadband router statistics
