topic How to place an order for Broadband installation to an address Openreach missed in Broadband

A property I'm involved with would like to order Ultrafast broadband. Its is available to all of their neighbours but Openreach decided the house was a business when installaling and omitted it. An open reach visited the site last year and confirmed they can install it and will need to dig a trench across the road so although it may take 6 months, they can have it once an order has been placed via the service provider.

BT will do this by placing an order on a neighbours address and using the notes to re-direct Openreach to the correct address. Notes are already in place on the Openreach system following the survey.

I have tried speaking with Openreach and none of the numbers are alive, its clear there is no way to contact them. I have called Sky who simply state if the address is not on their system its not possible to place an order. How to proceed with Sky? Is there a human in a 'projects dept' that can pick up a dialogue/email correspondance for all the details and work with my Client for an order?

Thank you.

That is essentially correct.

I have called Sky who simply state if the address is not on their system its not possible to place an order. How to proceed with Sky?

I believe you need to specifically get Sky to raise an 'ORDI' (OpenReach Data Integrity) query.

Thanks Timmy,

Thats also the problem I'm having, I can't seem to get past the Sky call handler to somebody who's interested in taking this forward. Its a case of 'computer says no'.

Anyone have contact details please?

Thanks.
