I've been without Internet now since Thursday morning. This is apparently due to an outage in the area. I've been told this is an Openreach issue. I think it's completely unacceptable that I have been without Internet now for nearly 3 days. I also work from home & this has caused me a massive inconvenience. Sky don't seem bothered at all that their customers have been without a service they pay for. I've made a huge mistake renewing.

Sky have no control over outages in the Openreach domain. The length of time to fix can vary depending on the complexity, eg. where something relatively simple like exchange equipment failure or a configuration issue, or on more severe cases damaged cable which requires dig work.
Outages in the OR network mean that all providors in the area would be affected. While the down time can be inconvenient, Sky customer services may be able to get an update on the status of the outage, but will not be able to expedite a fix.
