My WiFi keeps dropping out. Thus started 2 days ago and has been consistent. I have run all the checks on my sky app and nothing works. What should I try next?

Good Morning,

I got to the bottom of the issue. I have both my Sky Q boxes (Maina and Mini for Multiroom) connected hard wired/ ethernet connection. i.e. the set-up is as follows:

- Router --> Network Switch --> Sky Q Boxes, PC, Netwrok MEdia Player etc......

It was the internet that was dropping out, as I also had the same issue over ethernet. When disconnecting my network switch from the router the internet was stable. Initially I though this would be a defective Neywork Switch. However, by disconnecting the Sky Q Boxes from the ethernet network stability was restored.

I previously turned OFF Wireless on the Sky Q boxes (as I have them hard wired). However, upon chekcing the settings Wireless was turned ON . I'm not sure how it changed itself, possibly an update........

I turned OFF Wireless on both Sky Q boxes (again) and my network and internet are stable again.

Key Point. If using Ethernet then turn OFF your wireless on Sky Q Boxes. This must have been causing conflicts.
