'pre built to curtilage soft' means there's Openreach duct as far as the edge of the building plot, but they'd need to dig beyond there (through soil rather than asphalt or paving)

If the email is legitimate then I'd think it's requesting permission for that to take place.

Openreach possible scam email

 Hi

anyone had one of these? I'm due to have fibre broadband activated by open reach soon so first thoughts it could have been real as it also says it will be forwarded to my wife's email once completed and it states her correct address. Just seems a bit clunky to come fro openreach rather than Sky

thanks in advance

Dave.

@rockape338

It could be legit

I think PTW would be Permission To Work, and OGEA is Openreach Generic Ethernet Access: both might well be relevant in this context.

Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker may give a clue as to whether such paperwork is applicable.

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.

Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.

What do the first couple of lines of text below the table of speeds say?

KCI2 assure is a two stage installation and follows from a survey return that highlights potential issues.
