That's really only viable if the TP-Link has a dedicated Access Point mode. You definitely don't want it running as a router.

Hi Timmy,

I have a similar issue with my garden room. Previous providers like BT had no issue. But since moving to SKY fibre 150MB having differculties in the setup. Any advice or tips you could give would be greatly appreciated.

I have the white router (Says a Sky Max Hub) and I'm running an Ethernet cable to my garden room into 8 port switch and then from there i have wired connects to Work laptop, amongst other devices. Previously i would wire a connection to my Net Gear EX3800 Wifi Extender which can also act as an access point. However whenever i connect this now to the Sky router via hub, within minutes the router states all clear but it then disturbs all my connections to other devices. Soon as i remove all things return to normal.

Feels like the SKY router is blocking, and like i say never had an issue with BT or Vodafone providers.

Any thing to help would be great
