topic Broadband start date in Broadband

I ordered Sky Broadband over gocompare and it started yesterday. I assumed they had stopped the contract with my current provider but they hadn't. I want to postpone the start date (eventhough it was activated a day ago) by one month, is this possible?

@DonaldG simply no. While you can cancel under the 31 day cooling off period and re-order there is a chance Sky will simply refuse to accept the new order.

One touch switching (the gaining provider cancels the service with the old provider) only works where you are moving between ISPs using the Openreach network. Ofcom want it to work with all switches but with the huge number of small network providers it isnt operational as yet.
