Sky max hub not working

My sky hub was just installed 30 minutes ago but the light on the hub is not turning white , it keeps turning red. I do not know what to do .

@William257678 Was this hub a self install and your broadband was being activated remotely or did an engineer install this for you?

@William257678 Did they not wait for to make sure that it installed correctly or tell you what the light changing on the router means? How is the router connected to get internet?

They dod not wait or tell me what the lights mean . The router ia connected to a openreach compartment with LAN and PON.

I have 3 green lights and the PON light is on.

All of the lights are Green including the PON.

@William257678 So 3 lights are green and the LOS is not on at all and should not be. Is the LAN light flashing rapdily or is it just the same colour as the other ones?

None of them are flashing , they are all staying green.

@William257678 Looks like you are waiting for to start the data flowing and this can take up to midnight. But would think that the engineer would wait for the data to flow.

@William257678 If this is not working by the morning come back and the forum can get this escalated for you to find out what has happened. Just have to see if the data does flow by midnight. I also take it that the engineer disconnected your old broadband that would have connected to the old phone socket?

@William257678 No it is not needed. It was just to make sure that was all disconnected if it had been used.
