&lt;P&gt;If that's an FTTP connection (ONT to Hub) then Cat5e is fine, and higher grades unnecessary.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Just avoid the ungraded stuff which doesn't carry a Cat rating: that's not actually copper wiring inside.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Note that for FTTC it's not an ethernet cable at all.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
