Sky Broadband - experiencing frequent connection timeouts

Connection to the internet is intermittent, with frequent connection timeouts whenever I try search something and other apps requiring the internet unable to load pages. Issue seems to happen ever 1-5 minutes and lasts for an inconsistent amount of time. Weirdly, existing connections to a call/video game will usually remain connected during these issues - albeit the connection itself being unstable/inconsistent, frequently causing poor and laggy connection to a game server.

Had an Sky engineer over, with them concluding it was the Sky Shield (which has now being turned off) - however the issue remains.
