WiFi mesh best setup

Hi all,

My broadband setup is sky gigafast, sky router (black upright one) sky q box and one minibox.

The Q box and router are literally next to each other, with the mini box in a bedroom. Is there any benefit to having the 2.4 and 5 ghz channels switched on on the q box being so close to the router??

@andywhitehurst If the Q box is connected by ethernet then you can turn the Q box's WiFi off if you want but it wont make any real difference as the 2 dont interfere with each other.

Turning the WiFi channels off on the Q box has resulted in a much more stable WiFi connection.
