Asus router help with FTTP

Hi guys i have FTTP GIGAFAST

I have a sky hub sr203

And openreach ont modem on wall

What i want to do is ditch the sky hub

And connect ASUS TUF-AX3000 V2

Direct to ont fiber box

What do i do first plug it in sky hub lan port to get asus ax3000 to update first

Or plug it direct to ont straight away

Were i go in settings what do i select
