My hub is 5 years old and my internet connection drops out quite often. Recently security camera devices have struggled to hold connection as well as mobile devices. How do you get a new hub through sky ?
Not happy being a long term customer and the services bot being that good.

@4Drew while it is possible its a hub issue it is more likely other issues. Swapping a hub where there are line issues or Wifi interference is pointless.

Line drops are most frequently caused by line issues recently given the very wet weather there has been a significant increase as simply lots of water and copper cables carrying high frequdncy signals dont mix well. Openreach who own and operate the network take a robust view to linecdrops as their automatic systems should stabilise the line. If you post your Sky hub's stats forum membersxshould becable to advise what if anything you can do see Find your Sky Broadband router statistics

Doorbell cameras are frequently difficult to network as they are on the wrong side of an exterior wall. They normally only connect to the 2.4GHz WiFi band which is often affected by interference from neighbours' networks. Try rebooting your hub as that may find a better channel to use. Sky's new hubs dont have "more powerful" WiFi as all routers WiFi power is restricted by regulation .
