Distance from the router isnt really applicable when you are trying to connect devices outside external walls.

You can't buy boosters directly from Sky, they are only loaned out when you have the broadband boost addon. Additionally I am not sure if Sky would provide you with them under the guarantee because the cameras are technically outside your home.

You may be better off looking at 3rd party options like a mesh system.

I have 3 ring cameras for security i get them all connected even replaced a device so its brand new and they are constantly dropping connection which kind of defeats the object of having them. Also in my work room the connection is awful. Everytime i do the checker it says its good connection but im getting pretty sick of the cameras now

Where are these cameras located? If they are outdoor ones it can often be difficult for WiFi signals to get through outer brick walls. You may need a booster or two.
