Hi, I play a fair bit of gaming and have noticed the slow response I get, I did a few tests on sky's own measurements provided and it shows a much higher reading around 66 mbps but I believe this to be hugely unaccurrate. With other more reliable measurement providers I am getting around 40 to 51 mbps?? I believe sky promises a minimum of 63 ish

@Stevervc How is the device that you are doing the measure of your broadband speed connected to the router? Is it via ethernet or Wi-Fi?

@Stevervc Sky measure and quote the "line speed", that is the speed of the connection to your property up to the router, and this is what the Sky speed checker measures, and is what any "minimum speed" quotes refer too in terms of the contract , not the speeds on a device if connected via wifi.

All ISP's are the same 🤓

Hi, I've checked the sky's WiFi tester via my phone and then I used other recommended WiFi measuring apps.

I'm getting 20 less than sky's?

A smartphone is a wireless device, so it's 'testing' local WiFi, not the broadband speed.
