I am moving house in 2-3 weeks and have been looking for broadband deals online.

The only options in the area seem to be Sky or Sky/Now TV. They only offer 18-month contracts however, my current tenancy agreement is 12 months.

Do I take a cheaper broadband deal with Sky for 18 months and have to pay for cancelling the contract early if we have to move again?

There is a chance that we may stay in the property longer but is subject to change etc.

We are struggling to find anything with a decent price and 12-month contract.

It would be very unusual for there only to be Sky as a possible ISP.

Historically Sky has offered 18 month minimum terms while Now does 12 months, but be aware the industry is increasingly moving to 24 month terms.

The early exit fee is typically around 60% of the subscription which would have been paid over the same period.
