@Sam19811 getting a wifi signal into a garage is always tricky due to thick walls. The easiest solution is to use powerline networking adapters with a built-in wifi access point which uses your home's mains wiring to carry the data.

You buy a kit with two adapters , the first adapter simply has an ethernet socket and is plugged into a wall socket near the hub and connected by an ethernet cable to a LAN socket on the hub. The adapter which has the built-in access point is the plugged into a power socket in the garage. These work quite well but only expect between 20 to 30% of the rated output in most homes. If you buy online you can return the kit within 14 days if it doesn't work in your home.
