See loads of similar reports - but nothing from Sky.

Sky supplies something like six million domestic addresses with broadband, so even a very small percentage with problems is still 'loads'.

In the vast majority of cases the issue is with the individual Openreach circuit to a particular property or wireless distribution within it.

If you post your Hub stats, we'll have some information about your particular phone line and internet connection to work with.

Note that it's speed arriving at the Hub which counts against the minimum speed guarantee, not speed test website results on a wireless device.

Thanks for your reply - note it states you are not an employee, but you seem very supportive of Sky.

I would expect Sky to blame it on someone else or the customer - experienced that in the past, even though the problem was the way the engineer had left the set up!

I stated that I couldn't post the Hub stats due to http://192.168.0.1/ not working - probably by error not Sky!

The speed to the Hub is fairly irrelevant if nothing works.

I don't believe I said anything particularly supportive of Sky. Personally I use BT as an ISP because they offer cellular failover which Sky does not.

The Hub not responding could be either a symptom or a cause: has it been rebooted recently?
