topic Sky Glass Internet issues in Broadband

Hi, I've just renewed and updated to sky glass.. they tell me afterwards that for UHD use it needs to be 30-35mbps minimum but my broadband (the only one I can have at my address as full fibre not here yet 😡) is only at 29mbps max at peak times. Will I get charged if I go with a provider who can give me full fibre now or can anyone tell me when Sky will get full fibre here.. I live in a popular residential area and only been here 3 and a half years but still no sign and I can't not watch things on that screen in HD when I know UHD us there! What's the point???

Sky doesn't get FTTP anywhere: like other ISPs including BT/EE/Plusnet, TalkTalk and Vodafone they use the national Openreach copper and optical networks, and it's Openreach which plans where full-fibre goes next. The Openreach target is to reach 80% coverage (every commercially viable location) by the end of 2026.
