Websites not loading, slow apps

I am a new sky customer. I have Sky Boradband Ultrafast Plus. I've tested my internet speeds and I'm getting 500mbps which is great. But still some websites and apps are taking so long to load, and some never load. I switch to 5G on my phone and it loads instantly. I'm quite concerned as I was not having this problem with my previous provider and technically this broadband is supposed to be faster.

Could you give an example website that is slow to load? How long approx does it take to load?

This website itself is taking its time to load. Streaming Netflix or other platforms, the picture changes from HD to very pixelated. Some random recruitment websites, Singapore airlines. It seems most websites now. It is quite confusing because the internet tests always come back over 500mbps. It is on all devices, my phone, laptop and TV.

That is strange. Have you tried disabling Sky Shield? Also if you are using Apple devices try disabling iCloud relay.
Do you use a VPN at all?

Im having the same issues, Sky News website and John Lewis website to name just a couple. Taking so long to load that I have had to literally abandon. Ive never had fibre before now, only fast broadband and im seriously unimpressed how can superfast fibre be taking forever to load websites!? What is going on?

Just changed DNS server to 8.8.8.8 (thanks to another post)
