Poor wifi with upgrade to ultrafast plus

We've recently from super fast to ultra fast plus and the wifi ever since has been awful. Keeps switching to 3G on mobiles and Netflix etc won't load.
have done the usual box reset etc as advised from Sky but still having the issues.

anyone had anything similar?

@ceri17-18 Really odd that it should change with the different technology for you to get your internet it is only a data bearer. Which router do you have from the link below.

@ceri17-18 Was the router placement changed when you went to ultrfast broadband to connect it to the ONT?

Router is next to tv. We've had no new router but new port fitted on the wall

Yup, as soon as swapped over everything has been poor.

it's all wifi

@ceri17-18 Have you spoken to Sky about this happening to see if they will send out a new router to discount any issue with it?

That's the next step, spoke to them today to do the usual restart and reset of everything and still the same
