topic WiFi issues around the house. in Broadband

I have been having issues with my Sky wifi for a couple of months, First, I have a computer 15 meters away from the wifi extender and the signal keeps dropping in and out for no reason, There is nothing between the extender and the computer except a double glazed window. The signal will drop out and then restart with no explanation of why. Secondly, i have bad signal strength upstairs, Can I get Sky to send out another wifi extender or will I have to take a day off work for an engineer to come around, I'm getting the speed to the router so it's not that that is the problem it's just the wifi, Any suggestions would be most gratefully received.

It would be up to Sky whether they want to send an engineer first or not. Your problem may not be solved with more boosters, you may be better getting a 3rd party mesh system or perhaps powerline for your PC.
