&lt;P&gt;4m isnt very far but it depends what other than air is in between. Any metal will block the signal otherwise depending on the density walls, furniture, peoplle and the like will cause attenuation. Placing the hub high up above radiators etc helps.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;we are having trouble with the WiFi signal inside the house, I sit around 4m's away from the router and I can't access the internet I have to use my 4g on my mobile, also sky Q's won't connect due to poor signal&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Note that ISPs aren't actually responsible for home WiFi: any supposed 'guarantee' is really a guaranteed refund if targets aren't met.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
