Probably the first thing to appreciate is that Q hardware used as a wireless distribution system simply isn't capable of shifting anything like gigabit speed: for a start it's 802.11ac (WiFi 5) hardware dating from c2015 rather than the current WiFi 6 (802.11ax) standard.

We are on the gigafast line. Our Wifi coverage is (250mbps) in the same room as the router however as soon as you leave the room it drops to bellow 50 and goes even further elswhere in the house even though we have the sky booster and a mini q box. Can you advise on the best position for the booster?
