Our Internet started dropping intermittently and despite doing so the checks (all came up with green ticks!) and rebooting, there was still a problem. Over Easter, the Check My Broadband finally showed an issue and I was able to book an engineer. He came this morning, checked the master socket, and said he'd fixed a wire, then checked at the exchange and that he'd doing some corrosion and fixed that. He reset the line to get our speed back up and all seemed good. We were back at our usual speed of avg 69mbps. He did say the line may drop here and there whilst it is settling in. However, since about an hour after he left it's just as bad if not worse. But yet again, the checks on the app (using mobile phone data!) show there's nothing wrong. Sky sent us a text saying 'all fixed' but it obviously isn't. The dropping out does not appear to be 'bedding in'. Without the app check showing a fault I can't rebook the engineer and the virtual assistant sends me round in circles. My husband and I both work from home and it's really difficult to organise any work or meetings with it going on. I'm not sure what else to try. Surely there should have been a follow up not just a 'we've fixed your fault'?

Just dial 150 on your landline and listen through the voice prompts and stay on the line even after they send you a text.</P>
