Our broadband has been down for 2 and a half days and SKY says it's because of an outage in my area. I've checked with the community and everyone else seems to be fine. (also BT service checker says there are no issues).

Any ideas how I try to get this escalated? I'm worried that SKY are waiting for open reach to fix a local issue when it actually might just be us so no one is aware of the issue.

Other ISPs like Bt might not be affected as it could be something that is only an issue on a Sky line.

You could call Sky to see if they have an extra information above what is shown on the website as it will also help you with auto compensation which on kicks in from when you do this:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/auto-compensation
