Hi,

I have a sky engineer coming to my flat next week to install fibre broadband. The grey box is already installed out side by open reach. I was wondering anyone may know how long the installation process may take.

Usually a couple hours. The engineer will need to drill through from the CSP (The grey box outside) and then mount an ONT on your interior wall.

Thanks for this. I live in a first floor flat will this be an issue for install?

Possibly, yes: ladder work has additional safety requirements. Note that you'll need to be able to consent to drilling through an external wall if that's going to be the entry point.
