Deliver router to current address before moving

Hi,

i am moving into my first property soon and i am going with sky Fibre as my internet.

i am trying to get it all set up for 19th of April so its ready when i move in. however it gives me a date in like 2 weeks.

question is, can i get the router delivered to where i currently live now. or do i just need to wait closer to the timke?

Router delivery is timed for a few days before the activation date: it's Openreach you are waiting for, not Sky

Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which provisioning type is applicable.

Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.

Yes, when your order is placed the agent should ask you the address you want the router to be delivered to and this is chosen after your installation date is booked.

it is done this way so you can choose where to have it sent to depending on when the date is compared to when you move in

Also the router is only issued in advance of the chosen installation detail of that date has been accepted

if there are any delays or construction work for fttp then depending when it happens could prevent the issue of the hub for the expected date

If you still have access to the other property after you move it shouldn't be an issue unless it is a fair distance away
