    <description>&lt;P&gt;we will be 4 miles outside a major city,&amp;nbsp; yet the service is so poor the broadbad availability checker which i cannot download here reads a VDSL Range high 50 low 35 which is'ttoo bad&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;even the city is not in a current fibre priority programme ( must be because we are in the north of england)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;will have to wait till in and see what we are receiving then decide next move&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;we are moving home Bt checker give 8-16mb we would like to get nearer 65mb&amp;nbsp; we are with plusnet, we have a lineline and phone, but we use mobiles mostly so could live without a land phone&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;whts our options?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Can you post the full results from the link above?&amp;nbsp; remove any address detals.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;FTTC speed is almost entirely a factor of the distance over copper 'phone' wiring from the fibre cabinet (and to a lesser extent the quality of the wiring) : that's based on fundamental physics and can't be overcome on that technology.&lt;/P&gt;
