I was supposed to start with Sky Stream on 1st Feb. They discovered I had no BT telephone box ( must have been removed by previous owner) so I ended up following a visit by Openreach who took photos etc receiving word thatbit will be possibly 15th Feb before Openreach come to lay a line.meanwhile we are without Broadbsnd ( so no WiFi folks!!) Our Cell phones are eating money on 4G...a d no sky. TV is basic Free view. I've had no further communications from Sky ( like for instance "ok after the openreach have been we'll be there immediately to set up your broadband " i mean that would be good to be told). And I can locate nothing in the FAQ's that represents what we are experiencing!

I'd also like assurances that my 18 month contract eont start until I get broadband a d TV please! **Do Sky read these posts** I need someone to contact me. HELP!! ANYONE??

If someone has removed a line at a property this is quite normal to happen. Depending on Openreach availability in your area it could take weeks for works to be organised & completed. Especially if specialist teams or council permission is required.

Your contract does not start until activation day.

Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which provisioning type is applicable.

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.

Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.
