Sky Router Model SR203 Ethernet ports

Does anyone know what the ethernet ports on the SR203 are rated at? Are they 100baseT or gigabit? I suspect it's 100baseT as when I cabled up to the router with a cat8 cable, I only get around 98. My package is fibre to the house, and I can get around 300 on the wifi.

If it's the ports throttling the cable speed, any suggestions from you good people as to what fibre router I could replace my Sky router with please?

They are 1Gb ports . What device are you using?

If a windows pc check pc port status and change if available as below

to check what speed your card is currently set to :-

Go to the icon of the taskbar
Locate the icon Internet
Press on network and internet settings
Click on Ethernet
Click change adapter options
Double click on Ethernet. There, you get the speed, it can be 100 mbps or 1Gbps. If it is the second, we do not have to do anything, but if it is the first we have to configure the card

Then If you have a windows pc you can change the card settings as below

In the window where the speed was indicated, you have to click on properties
Check that the option Microsoft network clients is marked, if not, do it
Click on set up
We go to Advanced Options
Search Speed & Duplex
Change the value to 1.0 Gbps Full Duplex
Accept

Thank you for responding, and I have just found the setting on the hub - it was set to fast rather than giga, so will close the thread. If I'd have spent two more minutes checking, I'd have found the setting and not have wasted anyone's time. Thank again.

Do you mean you found the settings in the router settings rather than on the hub itself?
