When you are back up and running you are free to ask for a credit that Sky might apply to your account for the number of days you have had no service. So if it is 5 days (for example) they will work out what you will usually pay for 5 days and that will be the amount applied.

So my internet has been down for 2 full days already and having done all the checks many times it's clearly a new router is needed , so I have filled in a new router request form I was told I would be contacted within 3 days taking my total time of no internet service to 5 days , then a new router will be sent to me taking me to many more days without the service that I pay 34.50 a month for ? My question is will this be discounted from my bill as I am effectively paying for a service I am not receiving?

You will be entitled to £9.33 per day until the fault is fixed. This starts after 2 full working days without service and does not include weekends once the period has started.
