If your initial discounted term has finished you will move to a rolling monthly contract at a higher price until you do cancel

Hi I cancelled today but the lady on the phone said I had to pay £300 odd pounds. Could you please let me know what is going on

How long have you been with sky broadband?

Have you moved to aother provider,?

A few years. Yes moved to a new provider as sky couldn't get fibre into my house.

If Sky are telling you that you have to pay to leave then you are likely in a minimum term contract. It doesn't matter how long you've been with Sky if you signed up to a minimum term contract within the last 18 months then you will be subject to cancellation fees.
