FTTP Deco Connection Dropouts

I've had full fibre broadband for a couple of weeks now and have just managed to set up my Deco M5 mesh connecting directly to the ONT box. Everything was working great, speeds were good until this morning when suddenly the internet connection dropped out. Rebooting everything got it working again, but only for a hour or so when the same thing happened, needing another reboot.

I've seen threads on this forum with other users experiencing similar problems with the same setup. Is there realistically any way of getting around these problems and getting a reliable connection that doesn't randomly drop out? I'd rather not put the deco into access point mode if possible as I'm not happy about losing so many of the deco features and I also wasn't able to get pi-hole working successfully with that setup.

Many thanks

@andymcg7 TP-Link Deco units do not support the standard method of authentication on Sky services which is DHCP v4 Option 61. They can be linked using the alternate DHCP v6 PD but that only works where the exchange equipment supports it which depends on which supplier's unit your excange uses. It is worth checking the various forum posts where people have got the v6 method to work to check your units have the same settings if they are you maybe stuck.

You can use your Deco units in Access Point mode behind the Sky hub as I do myself or even in a double NAT set up.

Thanks @Chrisee, I have setup the deco mesh using DHCPv6 using settings I found in other threads on the forum. Everything worked successfully for about 24 hours so I was assuming the settings were correct. However my connection has now dropped out 3 times today. I guess I'm trying to find out if there's any way of getting a more reliable connection without DHCP v4 Option 61? Ideally I don't want to resort to Access Point mode.
