Continual issues with service breaks for indefinite periods requested a change in router as testing service in to home is ok but can be sat next to router and WiFi connection drops in and out, never arrived. In addition periods of WiFi poor performance typically later at night or weekends where WiFi just stops working for periods. Any ideas and help appreciated

@Sf1680 due to the way the aerials in a hub work you can get areas close to the hub where the signal from two aerials interfere so you get no signal to lock onto. Move a foot or so either way should give a strong signal. Variable signal can also be caused by interference from your neighbour's wifi. If you have an ndroid phone orcwindows laptop downloadcan app called Wifi Analyzer which will show you every wifi network in range with their strength and channel. Two networks on the same or adjacent channels will interfere.

Simply rebooting your Sky hub will make it find the best channels to use but be prepared to do that frequently.
