WiFi speed test not as fast as sky claim

When doing a speed test using the sky app its says 56mb but when I run my own test it says 29.76mbps I am not getting what I pay for.

The speed shown on your Sky app is the line speed to the router which is only accurately measured via ethernet. If you are running tests via WiFi then they are likely to be lower due to various factors that affect WiFi in general. Sky make no promises for the speed of your WiFi only the speed to the hub & via ethernet.
